I was very happy to be able to coordinate her and Eric’s September 12th wedding.  I was also very excited to work with Olivia Wagner of Olivia Wagner photography (as my sister and I have done some serious stalking of her work because we can’t get enough of her child photography – and obviously her weddings as well!).  There was a lot of excitement around the day, but the most notable was how much Eric is head-over-heels for Jamie and wants her to be treated like his queen.  Well, that and when he beat-boxed during his speech!  Thanks again, Jamie and Eric!  It was a pleasure working with you!

Matt’s musically talented Dad played for their ceremony.

[ I give up on trying post weddings in chronological order.  I had this weird thing about posting in the order that I've done them, but that's just silly when I have posts ready to go for months.  Hopefully this will help to appear like less of a slacker.  I LOVE photographers that share their photos with me and Olive Juice Studios sent me the sweestest package after I worked with them on Kristen and Matt's wedding.  I have way too many GREAT pics to chose from so we'll do a part I, II, and III!  Without further ado, and just a few days late for their 1 year anniversary... Kristen + Matt! ]

Kristen and I quickly bonded when she booked me to coordinate their 6.27.09 wedding at McNamara Alumni Center.  We had a lot in common being Gophers, loving science, and even sharing a love for pharmacy  and working for the big M.  On top of that, we had mutual acquaintances like Michael – my BFF’s brother being one of their groomsmen.  After all that chatter, we got down to business as Kristen was planning she and Matt’s wedding while she cruised through an 3 year PharmD program in Arizona (and landing herself a prestigious PharmD residency at Mayo) and Matt stayed in the Twin Cities to work.  Both Kristen and Matt are incredibly creative and you have to give Matt props for his design work on their monogram and stationery.  I was so excited to work with their killer vendors and put their photographs and flowers at the top of my fave list for 2009.  Thank you so much for allowing me to be with you that day, Kristen and Matt.  Can you believe it’s been a YEAR already?!  Happy Anniversary!
