I ran across Nimli.com and just had to share it with you. Nimli is an online retailer that boasts selling products that are not only fashion forward and unique, but also eco-friendly in many different forms. Lots of couples I’ve worked with are looking for ways to be less wasteful and more earth conscious in their planning process, and this site offers another way for couples to express their love for Mother Earth through the gifts they give each other, their wedding party, or even a little something for themselves!
Looking through the sites you’ll find symbols under tons of fabulous items to indicate that they are vegan friendly, made of recycled material, made of natural materials, organic, and so on. The site is perfect for anyone looking to step up their ‘green’ living and also for people looking to give gifts that are completely personal and complimentary to the person receiving them. There is also a wide range of prices, which is helpful for anyone trying to artfully work their wallet.

Happy 2009! I’m very excited to welcome 2009 and especially excited for those getting married this year! How nice does that sound?!
Not only is there a new year to celebrate, but also a very happy birthday to celebrate! I am celebrating the 1st birthday of [fab.you.lous event design]. It’s been a fantastic year and, as I’ve already told them, I owe all my success in 2008 to the wonderful couples I’ve worked with.
The best way to celebrate all the good things 2009 will bring, is to pass on a present to you. In the form of freebies, of course!

$299 Wedding Gown Sample Sale

The Minneapolis Convention Center will be holding a wedding gown sample sale this weekend, October 18th – 19th from 10-4 both days. Tons of gowns in a large variety of top designers at the best prices possible. A lot of the gowns have never even been tried on! The website says gowns in sizes 2-28 so there’s something for every shape.
It’s first come, first serve and you’ll have to stand in line, but it’s worth it to possibly find the dress of your dreams at a fraction of it’s normal cost. If you’re up for it, grab your mom, sisters, and friends and have fun in a sea of dresses!
