I know I promised a part III for Kristen and Matt’s wedding, but WordPress hates me for some reason right now.  I’m sure it’s operator error.  Check out Jamie and Eric’s wedding in the meantime!

I was very happy to be able to coordinate her and Eric’s September 12th wedding.  I was also very excited to work with Olivia Wagner of Olivia Wagner photography (as my sister and I have done some serious stalking of her work because we can’t get enough of her child photography – and obviously her weddings as well!).  There was a lot of excitement around the day, but the most notable was how much Eric is head-over-heels for Jamie and wants her to be treated like his queen.  Well, that and when he beat-boxed during his speech!  Thanks again, Jamie and Eric!  It was a pleasure working with you!

A wordy little intro…

[ I give up on trying post weddings in chronological order.  I had this weird thing about posting in the order that I've done them, but that's just silly when I have posts ready to go for months.  Hopefully this will help to appear like less of a slacker.  I LOVE photographers that share their photos with me and Olive Juice Studios sent me the sweestest package after I worked with them on Kristen and Matt's wedding.  I have way too many GREAT pics to chose from so we'll do a part I, II, and III!  Without further ado, and just a few days late for their 1 year anniversary... Kristen + Matt! ]

Kristen and I quickly bonded when she booked me to coordinate their 6.27.09 wedding at McNamara Alumni Center.  We had a lot in common being Gophers, loving science, and even sharing a love for pharmacy  and working for the big M.  On top of that, we had mutual acquaintances like Michael – my BFF’s brother being one of their groomsmen.  After all that chatter, we got down to business as Kristen was planning she and Matt’s wedding while she cruised through an 3 year PharmD program in Arizona (and landing herself a prestigious PharmD residency at Mayo) and Matt stayed in the Twin Cities to work.  Both Kristen and Matt are incredibly creative and you have to give Matt props for his design work on their monogram and stationery.  I was so excited to work with their killer vendors and put their photographs and flowers at the top of my fave list for 2009.  Thank you so much for allowing me to be with you that day, Kristen and Matt.  Can you believe it’s been a YEAR already?!  Happy Anniversary!

You might recognize a couple beautiful faces in these pictures from Barclay Horner – they’re Kristen and Angie of Deckci Decor (that’s pronounced Deck-Ci) – ok, and Phil too!  I had the pleasure of coordinating Kristen and Phil’s wedding last May 22nd at the Golden Valley Country Club.  I have to thank Kristen for solidifying my obsession with the black, white, and yellow color combination.  Kristen designed a beautiful room that used a bold color scheme, but at the same time it didn’t overpower the elegance of the country club.  Phil and Kristen were awesome to work with – and can you say hot couple?!   I am so happy that they welcomed their first child – a baby boy – this spring!  Thank you again for the opportunity to work with you on your wedding and for sitting me with your hilarious friends at the reception!

Stephanie and Patrick hired me to coordinate their picture-perfect May 2, 2009 wedding at Mount Olivet Lutheran church and the reception at the Calhoun Beach Club.   They were so easy and fun to work with and I loved Stephanie’s choice to use navy instead of black for the bridesmaid dresses.  The weather was absolutely perfect for the guests to enjoy their cocktails on the terrace at Calhoun Beach Club overlooking Lake Calhoun.   It was my first time working with Graddy Photography, who took fantastic detail shots, as well as CBC.  I was wowed by D’Amico catering staff and can’t wait to get back there next week (with the Graddy’s again too)!  These were another set of clients that I went through withdrawals over when the wedding was done.  Thanks so much, Stephanie and Patrick!  You guys are awesome!

I’m pretty fickle about bows, but I really loved these bridesmaid dresses.

Each guest was greated by a bag if mini gummi bears from Stephanie and Patrick.

I’m sure it took forever to make these, but the creativity was noticed and greatly appreciated by their guests!

I love ring shots… bring on the bling!

The best part about working with D’Amico is they provide the cake with the catering menu.  Not only is it convenient, they’re well design AND taste fantastic!
