True fact: I’ve had two couples named Betsy and Josh. This Betsy and I were introduced through my BFF Sarah, who was her college roommate. Betsy and her sweetheart, Josh, were married in Josh’s parent’s backyard and Betsy pulled off all the beautiful details in 9 weeks! After 9 years together, they decided there was no need to worry about a long engagement. I totally agree. Not going to lie, the best part of the day? Her Oscar de la Renta gown, which was meant for a ballerina body like hers. You were and are a total stunner, Betsy! Congratulations, you two!

I had the pleasure of working with Jenna and Greg for their beautiful, classic wedding last summer at Semple Mansion. I first met Jenna and Greg at Carly and Paul’s wedding. Jenna was a bridesmaid and Greg was the funny guy that helped me set up the chairs. Fast forward to last summer for their gorgeous wedding at the Semple Mansion captured by Staja Studios. Blog slacker? I know… I’m working on it. In the mean time, feast your eyes on the nothing-less-than gorgeous wedding of Allison and Jason that was featured on Style Me Pretty last week. Allison and Jason have impeccable taste and Allison designed the whole thing. The beautiful wedding party flowers are created by Just Bloomed and the bride’s step-mother grew the peonies at home and created all the reception flowers in her own collection of various silver tea pots, vases, and other beautiful home items. Photogen Inc did an incredible job with the photos. It really was quite the collaboration!

Michael is my bff’s brother, so I’ve known him for about 14 years. I was so excited to find out he was engaged and even more excited when Ellen, his bride-to-be, contacted me to help with their wedding. She had taken on the task of collecting milk glass, various silver pieces, and had her heart set on easy, eclectic but elegant decor. I loved her choice of muted colors and little details in all the right places. Thank you for allowing me to work with you and your families!
