I was beyond thrilled to be hired to coordinate Jessica and Neal’s dual cultural wedding in Minneapolis last spring. It was wonderful getting to know both families and I feel SO lucky to have been able to learn about Hindu weddings and culture. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day or better families to work with. Thanks for bringing me into your planning and for allowing me to find another part of this job that I love, Jessica and Neal! (And congrats to them on their baby boy!!!)

Jessica’s mother and her mother’s friends did all the reception centerpieces and did a great job!

The dessert table was filled with treats also made by a family friend and in coordinating colors.

I went to college the U of MN. A giant school. So I’d only heard from other friends through their experiences about the crazy closeness of some of the private colleges. Carly and Paul met at St. Olaf and had themselves a classic Ole’ wedding. I got to experience first hand the beautiful campus and how close and fun their Ole’ friends are. Carly used to work with my sister and I heard all sorts of great things about her before we met and I had a wonderful time working with Carly and Paul to coordinate their 8.22.09 wedding in Northfield. The day was absolutely gorgeous and you can see how happy they are to have each other. He’s an engineer and a big congrats to Carly for finishing up her first year of med school in Duluth… This is just another wicked smart power couple in the making!
Thanks so much, you guys! You’re my kind of people! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY and I can’t wait to see you this weekend at J + G’s wedding!

Hi, I’m Carly, I’m going to be a doctor, my husband is wicked smart, I have gorgeous friends, and great taste in color combinations. No big deal.

Kranskake cookies made with love by a family friend

The flowers were so stunning and vibrant.

If you can spring for it, consider a photo booth for your guests. I have never seen people have so much fun at a photo booth as I witnessed at this wedding!

Part II of Rebecca + Harrison’s wedding shows the reception at Solera. I cannot rave enough about how fantastic the food was. Rebecca and Harrison chose Solera for their reception site because of the great atmosphere and great spaces. The cocktail hour was held on the second floor as well as on the patio. We then moved to the third floor for dinner and dancing. The newlyweds opted for the family style tapas for their guest and even after many meals at weddings, this was the best I had ever had! If you’ve ever been to Solera it’s got a dark and warm color palette. You’ll love the transformation of the room that the draping, lighting, linens, and chairs created.

Check out the menu (stationery by White Aisle)… I still crave the Piquillo Peppers.

When you have someone like Noah Wolf photographing your wedding, no family photographers needed. Except this guy was seen all day with a point-and-shoot and camera phone like taking pictures was his job. So funny.

Rebecca and Harrison were married Memorial Day weekend 2009 (the same weekend as Kristen and Phil) and what a wedding it was. I started working with Rebecca to from the beginning of their planning stages and loved getting to know her throughout the planning journey. Noah Wolf was kind enough to send me some of the BEAUTIFUL photos he took of the wedding and because I can’t possibly decide on only a handful to use, I’ll break this wedding up into two part. First up, the ceremony!
